Minnesota Children's Museum is at 10 W. 7th St., between St. Peter and Wabasha sts. It offers hands-on activities for children between 6 months and 10 years of age. Forces at Play encourages creativity and problem solving through investigation and experimentation with air and water, and The Scramble, a vertical playground, allows children to climb, slide, scoot and explore. Super Awesome Adventures includes a laser maze and climbing wall. At The Studio, little ones get to play with kinetic sand, use pottery tools to mold clay and paint their own faces, and Imaginopolis provides props to create stories and a pool noodle forest in which to have adventures. Sprouts is a play area just for children zero to 3. Food is available.
