Minnesota History Center is at 345 Kellogg Blvd. W. Home to the Minnesota Historical Society Library, the center also has changing interactive displays. Featured exhibits include “Minnesota's Greatest Generation” and “U.S. Dakota War of 1862,” which chronicles the war's history from both settler and Native American viewpoints. Food is available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$12; $10 (ages 65+ and college students with ID); $6 (ages 5-17); free (Tues. 5-8).
Hours: Museum open Tues.-Sat. and Mon. holidays 10-5 (also Tues. 5-8), Sun. noon-5. Research library open Tues. 9-8, Wed-Sat. 9-4.
