National Eagle Center, 50 Pembroke Ave., is dedicated to educating the public about these magnificent raptors. Four bald eagles and one golden eagle are the stars of classroom presentations where you can learn more about the injuries that brought individual avian “ambassadors” to the center. Interactive exhibits give insight into such eagle characteristics as weight, visual acuity and talon strength. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
$8; $7 (ages 62+); $6 (ages 4-17).
Hours: Daily 10-5, Mar.-Oct.; Sun.-Thurs. 10-4, Fri.-Sat. 10-5, rest of year. Live eagle programs take place at 11, 1 and 3. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas.
