AAA Inspector Notes
Located across from the bay in the Old Town section, this quaint restaurant is housed in the former Sea Coast Echo Newspaper building, which was nearly destroyed by Hurricane Katrina. Now refurbished but maintaining the architectural integrity of the original structure, the café offers local seafood, pasta, steaks and chops. The distressed wood beams and paneling add a charming touch, while the weatherbeaten look affirms its history. The wrought-iron balcony affords a great view of the water.
