FIVE GOLD STARS FOR FAIRFIELD...
Pros: Variety of breakfast food choices. The temperature of the food served was perfect. Wonderful sleeping bed. The pillows are to die for. Loved every thing about the Fairfield, especially that it's a non-smoking facility. The staff teams were professional and helpful. Loved the decor. Great customer service. Whenever my husband and I are in the Clinton/Jackson, MS area, we will definitely stay at the Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Clinton Jackson.
Cons: Can't think of anything.

Could do better.
Pros: Front desk staff excellent cleaning staff poor. Arrived here by chance as was turned away by original booking in Vicksburg Comfort Suites. There had been no running water in the hotel for 4 days. Booking.com still booked me into this hotel and the hotel said they couldn't let me know of the problem despite having my phone and email numbers. SHOCKING SERVICE BY BOTH PF YOU. Checked in main light not working in room. Told reception about problem went out to get food. Came back told wiring problem. Then found out fridge microwave and coffee machine also not working!! Told to lift out microwave we didn't. Employee came lifted it out absolutely filthy. Nothing worked. Moved to another room. We had 2 queens. New one had king and sofa. Sofa had no sheets available so returned to original room for all bedding ourselves. Very poor show. Manager took off $20 dollars for our inconvenience.

Pros: The room was spacious and clean. The staff was very gracious and very respectful.
Cons: We didn't get cleaning done until the second day we were there. We had trash sitting in our room for two days. Nothing was restocked in the room when they came back in to clean. I asked the desk for toilet paper and trash bags, they indicated that they would be up in 5 minutes and it took another call at the 20 minute mark and then finally received the items in an hour.

Hotel was excellent, staff friendly...
Pros: Front Desk was extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast staff was also friendly and kept food items filled and are neat. Room was very nice and clean. Quiet room.
Cons: Booked thru my phone in Vicksburg 45 minutes away while driving and received a confirmation #, The hotel had not received our reservation upon our arrival. It took the Front Desk to finally talk to make sure I would not be double billed for the room. I called Booking.com customer service and they called the Front Desk. There were only 2 rooms left and after almost 2 hrs we checked in. Thanks to the Front Desk and doing all so we would not be billed twice we were able to check in. the Booking.com rep did call hotel and they worked together to confirm our reservation. I was not double billed. Our question is why did Booking.com give us a confirmation and yet hotel did not receive the booking?
