Jackson native chef Louis LaRose brings more than 20 years experience to his interpretation of traditional Southern classics. Try the Gulf shrimp and cheese grits in his Creole sauce or pork chops with spiced cream corn and black-eyed pea salsa mole. A customer favorite is the No. 7 burger topped with candied bacon, white cheddar, grilled green tomatoes and red onions that's finished with a smoked tomato-bacon aioli. The masculine, industrial-style décor consisting of cinder block and gray-painted brick walls, wood, metal and exposed conduits is reflected in the name and is reminiscent of full-service gas stations.
