Natchez National Historical Park is 1 mi. w. of US 61 at 1 Melrose-Montebello Pkwy. Created in 1988, this park is composed of three parts: the 80-acre Melrose Estate, the William Johnson House and the 18th-century, French-built Fort Rosalie archaeological site, which is expected to be open to the public in August of 2016.
Free.
Hours: Visitor center daily 9-5. Closed Jan. 1, Thanksgiving and Christmas.
