Tunica Museum is 2 mi. n. on US 61, across from the Paul Battle Jr. Arena & Exposition Center at One Museum Blvd. Exhibits trace county history from Native American habitation and European exploration to early settlement, plantation life, the Civil War, Reconstruction, sharecropping, desegregation and the struggles of the civil rights era, and the arrival of the casinos.
Interpretive trails wind through the adjacent 15-acre Walter D. and Dorothy K. Wills Nature Conservancy.
