AAA Inspector Notes
This 1830s Greek Revival house will appeal to those looking for a historical setting. The main house offers well-appointed period rooms. More modest accommodations are available in the carriage house. Jefferson Davis made his last public address from an upper balcony. Some of the main areas of the house are open for public tours, but overnight guests also have some comfortable lounging spaces. The guest room baths vary in size but are well stocked with amenities. There is also a very inviting pool area as well as shady, brick-lined gardens.
Smoke free premises. 8 units, some two bedrooms. 2 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
