This restored 50-room antebellum mansion overlooking the river was a wedding gift to a bride from her husband in 1840. The house offers period décor and the guestrooms are named after war generals. The front gentleman's parlor, rear ladies' parlor and music room are all furnished in Victorian furniture with velvet and damask fabrics. A movie, 'Little Miss Firecracker,' was made on the site and proved to be the perfect setting. A house tour is available.
Smoke free premises. 33 units, some two bedrooms, kitchens and cottages. 1-4 stories (no elevator), interior/exterior corridors.
