National Tiger Sanctuary is at 518 County Road BB. Guided walking tours allow visitors to learn about the rescued tigers, lions, leopards and mountain lions that reside in this sanctuary. Awareness Tours last 45 to 60 minutes. Other guided tours offer visitors the opportunity to engage in such activities as feeding the big cats or taking a behind-the-scenes look at their care. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
Awareness tour $25; $20 (ages 55+); $12 (ages 3-12). Fees for other tours vary.
Hours: Awareness Tour departs Wed.-Sun. at 10, noon and 2. Closed Jan. 1, July 4, Thanksgiving and Christmas. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
