Pros: The location was perfect and the manager went above and beyond to makeup for the staff's downfall. She comped the room and a dinner and breakfast, because I couldn't get my money back for 8 days and we needed the cash I had for gas and such, to get home.
Cons: They charged my card before I ever arrived. They showed I checked in at 9 am when I didn't get there until 3pm. They took over $--- and change out of my account, and really messed up the trip. We didn't get to go to Legoland or the aquarium as planned.

Pros: The location was great. It was just a few hundred feet from a huge Quick Trip where we could purchase snacks and beer, etc.. It also was only 0.4 miles away from a large mall with tons of stores. Lots of restaurants nearby.
Cons: The water pressure in the shower was terrible, and only luke warm in the mornings. I would suggest showering in the evening...when you can get some hot water. The pool is really small...and sort of made my skin itchy.

Pros: There was nothing great about this hotel. Room was pretty mediocre for a 3-star hotel. The best thing was proximity to I-70 and to some restaurants and stores.
Cons: Renovations on the first floor made coming in and leaving kind of annoying. One of the two elevators was out of service, so I ended up waiting nearly 5 minutes each time I needed to go up or downstairs.

Pros: Hard to say, as the hotel was in the middle of a massive renovation during my stay. Seemed okay overall, but did not meet my expectations of a Hilton Garden Inn. Seemed below average for this hotel chain.
Cons: Low flow water showers, hate them. Saves 20% on water to take a 50% longer shower to rinse yourself! Room had temperature issues (too hot/too cold, never just right). Hotel overbooked and watched other guests not get rooms because of it.

Pros: This hotel is in a great location right off of I 70. It has lots of restaurants all around it and shopping.
Cons: The only thing we did not like is that it was under construction. A full renovation! We did not know this when we book the hotel and we were disappointed to find out that the hotel pool and hot tub were closed. they gave us free breakfast because of that

Pros: The location was great as an entry into Kansas City without the heavy traffic of the City itself, and the hotel is literally surrounded by great choices for meals.
Cons: Under long-term construction, lobby a mess with cardboard on the floors. Much-anticipated pool was closed for renovation. Got to room and found it hadn't been cleaned. Given new room, but no attempt at compensation. (Comp breakfast would have been nice.)

Pros: The best thing about this hotel was the staff. The eargerness to ensure that we were comfortable and safe. They continued checking on us throughout the remainder of our stay. Our trip could have very easily been a complete disaster with any other hotel
Cons: The only thing i did not like about this hotel was that they were over booked. Upon arrival and checkin, we were given a room envelope that had the room number printed inside with 2 keys. When we entered room, we found someone asleep in the bed. Not safe

Pros: We loved the courtesy and attentiveness of the hotel staff. The location was excellent with close proximity to shopping and good restaurants.
Cons: The facility was undergoing some maintenance. Painting in the east stairwell and 1st floor hallway made for some minor inconveniences. The swimming pool was not in operation during our stay due to maintenance.

Pros: The staff at this hotel was amazing. We had some issues with our room and the pool not working properly, but the staff made our hotel stay amazing! they were so kind to our kids and took care of things for us to ensure a return visit.
Cons: The pool was pretty small and the heater was broken when we were there. My daughter was so excited to swim but the water was freezing. Once again the hotel staff was great though through the issues we encourntered!

Pros: The price of the hotel was fairly low for being just outside Kansas City. The room was comfortable and cheap eats down the road.
Cons: Didn't care for the cleanliness of the bathroom. The staff in the morning was kind but night staff seemed upset. Parking lot was a little full with some of the restaurant people next door.

Cons: The only close to a negative was that we were sharing hotel with three rugby teams and and their fans. Was noisy from time to time but that was not hotels fault
