SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium

SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is at 2475 Grand Blvd., at the south end of Crown Center Square. Thousands of sea creatures are displayed, including a huge variety of fresh and saltwater fish species, sharks, rays, crabs and eels. Habitats with interactive features include a display about Missouri lakes.

Glass tunnels enhance the up-close feeling while observing the aquarium's inhabitants. The Touch Tank offers hands-on experiences like petting a star fish or tickling a sea urchin. Plenty of background information is provided, staff are on hand to answer questions, and quizzes help keep kids interested and involved.
