SEA LIFE Kansas City Aquarium is at 2475 Grand Blvd., at the south end of Crown Center Square. More than 5,000 fish and sea creatures are displayed, including a huge variety of fresh and sea water fish, sharks, rays, crabs and eels. This educational attraction offers several different sea habitats for viewing and interaction, including a display on Missouri's lakes.
Guests can walk through glass tunnels to experience an up-close sensation while observing the aquarium's inhabitants, including sharks. A knowledgeable staff is on hand to answer any questions, and information on the various species is displayed throughout the attraction. Quizzes are used to keep kids interested and involved. The Touch Tank allows visitors to have a hands-on experience by petting a star fish or tickling a sea urchin.
