Cons: hotel didn't have any room to park my car which is 1 of the reasons why I booked this hotel. Had to find my own parking 2 blocks down the st. and pay for it extra. Also had to stay in the old hotel which smelled musty and damp! Way too much $ for the old!

Cons: I didn't realize when I booked the hotel that there would be a wedding group of 700+, Rockfest and a tattooFest that same weekend. Checking in was near to impossible as was parking. Finally checked in at midnight, didn't get to enjoy the room at all.

Cons: Parking was kind of a nightmare; only 2 floors of parking for a huge hotel; the other option was valet parking, which of course is even more expensive. Once I got there I was afraid to leave for fear I wouldn't find a parking place when I got back.

Pros: The front desk was so nice with an easy check in process. We mentioned we were celebrating and got a great park view room and they even sent up some chocolate cake. Even when the valet was busy they were still quicker than a lot of hotels I've been to.

Pros: I thought this was an incredible bargain for the price. The hotel was updated, clean and felt very luxurious. the new elevator system is like nothing i have ever seen before. the entire staff was friendly and professional.
Cons: If i were to have anything negative (and frankly i am not sure that i do) it would be paying $19.00 a night. not a deal breaker but all i could think of that left any kind of negative vibe.

Pros: it was nice, the bed was fabulous! The staff was very cheerful and happy to see us every time we walked in the door. Breakfast was pretty great although it didn't come with the room.
Cons: there was no vent fan in the bathroom, the mirrors fogged immediately after I turned on the shower. It was pretty expensive, holy kats! there was no parking downtown so if you wanted to go do something you had to walk or taxi.

Pros: It was in downtown KC near the Sprint Center other than that zero!
Cons: A cluster f... of elevators and a total maze to navigate. Was stuck across the street in the annex in a room at first, I thought was a closet. NO view, microwave, frig, bathtub etc and for a total bill of over $300!; you are definitely better off at the Crowne Plaza across the street! It was not available this night so I was stuck with the Marriott maze experience. I live in the Kansas City area now and have stayed downtown several times, but at the IHG Crowne Plaza. I'll book their properties in a heartbeat over Marriott in the future. Oh; I forgot there is one thing; a warm bottle of water is available for $4, otherwise it is a dorm room!
