National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church

National Shrine of Mary, Mother of the Church is 1 mi. n. on SR 5. A 14-foot stainless steel sculpture of the Virgin Mary stands in a terraced amphitheater, surrounded by landscaped fountains and pools. The Mother's Wall of Life displays names engraved in black granite. An Avenue of Flags represents the home countries of visitors and parishioners.
