AAA Inspector Notes
This small-town restaurant offers popular country comfort foods in a casual setting with cordial and competent waitresses. Try the 'super tenderloin platter' of hand-battered, deep-fried pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes smothered in gravy. Or order breakfast, it is served anytime the restaurant is open. This small town is on the west side of the Lake of the Ozarks. Along the west side of Hwy. 5, the main drag through town on the north side of town, is were you will find this comfortable little restaurant. Pancakes, French toast, Belgian waffles and biscuits and gravy take their place alongside omelets and eggs any-style. For lunch, you can also choose from several sandwiches and a few lunch platters. The Reuben sandwich comes highly recommended as does the 'super tenderloin platter' of battered, deep-fried pork tenderloin and mashed potatoes. The informally friendly and attentive family atmosphere is reinforced with pictures of customers lining the front dining room wall.
