Ozark Caverns is 6.6 mi. e. on SR A off US 54, .7 mi. n. on McCubbins Dr. then .7 mi. n.e. to 823 Ozark Caverns Rd., within Lake of the Ozarks State Park . One-hour guided tours explore half a mile of the caverns' geological formations, which include helictites, soda straws and stalagmites as well as the Angel Showers, a continuous shower of water that seems to emanate from the rock ceiling. Several bat and salamander species and a variety of invertebrates live in this specialized environment.

A visitor center has displays about the caverns and offers a booklet outlining a 1-mile outdoor interpretive trail.

Picnicking is permitted.

One-hour guided tours depart daily at 11, 12:30, 2 and 4, June 1-Aug. 15; Tues.-Sat. at 12:30 and 2, Aug. 16-31; Sat.-Sun. at 11, 1 and 3, May 15-May 31 and Sept. 1-Sept. 15. Additional quarter-mile tours geared to children and 90-minute tours geared to adults are offered June 1 through August 15. Phone ahead to confirm schedule. Allow 1 hour minimum.
