Museum of Westward Expansion is on Market St. at Riverfront beneath The Gateway Arch at Jefferson National Expansion Memorial. An extensive collection of artifacts is presented, including exhibits related to the Lewis and Clark expedition. Exhibits depict the social and cultural history of territories west of the Mississippi River and are presented in concentric semicircles representing interactive timelines.
