Soldiers' Memorial Military Museum is at 1315 Chestnut St. In the central breezeway is a black granite cenotaph bearing the names of 1,075 St. Louis soldiers who died in World War I. Museum exhibits include firearms and other weapons, photographs, medals, uniforms, souvenirs, banners and memorabilia pertaining to St. Louis' military history since 1800.
Across the street are memorials to those who died in World War II, Korea and Vietnam.
