Lovely historical hotel; helpful and courteous staff .. The room was nicely furnished. However, I was given a room at the end of two hallways; the room seemed not to have been dusted recently; the bathroom floor had noticeable dark/sticky spots and needed a thorough mopping.
Pros: Very nice furnishings; good public spaces; ease of internet access; helpful staff
Cons: The room needed a more thorough cleaning; there was dust on the radio and on the tables; there was only one roll of toilet paper; the bathroom floor had noticeably dirty/sticky spots; It seemed as though the room was seldom used and had not been recently/thoroughly cleaned.

Pros: Outstanding Hotel in every way! The Chase up-graded our One Bedroom Suite to the same room, but on the Concierge Floor for just $25 more over Labor Day weekend! Our family of 4 had the best, relaxing and luxurious staycation ever...it's just what we needed, while we enjoyed our oldest daughter home from College and our youngest daughter loving her sister back! The outdoor pool and pool deck w/Cabanas...fantastic and so clean! Concierge Floor...spectacular! Such delicious horsd'ovres, Continental breakfast and alcoholic/non-alcoholic beverages...all complimentary! Their servers are the most wonderfully friendly and hospitable people ever! Took in a movie downstairs in Hotel and walked to Greek Festival, a couple blocks away...so fun! Our Suite overlooked Forest Park...breathtaking views for sure! Thanks to all for making our staycation...enjoyable and so very memorable, for our family.
Cons: Nothing could have been better...even price for one night w/ up-grade was absolutely affordable.

Pros: It is an old "empire" style hotel with ambiance and modern facilities. The staff were wonderful and the food was good! A great venue for staying in St. Louis.
