AAA Inspector Notes
This restored upscale boutique hotel boasts impressive architecture throughout the public areas. Many complimentary extras are offered, such as an evening reception with beer, wine and soft drinks. This historic, landmark property was originally built in 1924 and restored with a multi-million dollar renovation, only recently reopening its doors. Over the years it played host to many famous guests, such as Lyndon B. Johnson and Cary Grant, who even has a suite with his name on it. The property claims to be the first to begin the 'chocolates on the pillow' trend at turn-down, instituted when it originally opened. Smoke free premises. 182 units. 18 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros:
Cons: Picking up car from valet after check out was pretty lengthy but I think its because everyone was leaving out at once.

Pros: Staff was both friendly and professional. They treated use to a complimentary bottle of champagne, chocolate covered strawberries and ooey gooey cake as we celebrated our honeymoon. It was very thoughtful.
Cons: More variety at breakfast, by the third morning we were wanted something more. It was delicious but no variety from day to day.

Pros: Our stay was great, location, staff everything. Bed was so nice and so were the pillows.
Cons: Just thought that there would have been more on the breakfast buffet, and none of the staff let us know that we could have ordered more from a menu.
