AAA Inspector Notes
This restored upscale boutique hotel boasts impressive architecture throughout the public areas. Many complimentary extras are offered, such as an evening reception with beer, wine and soft drinks. This historic, landmark property was originally built in 1924 and restored with a multi-million dollar renovation, only recently reopening its doors. Over the years it played host to many famous guests, such as Lyndon B. Johnson and Cary Grant, who even has a suite with his name on it. The property claims to be the first to begin the 'chocolates on the pillow' trend at turn-down, instituted when it originally opened. Smoke free premises. 182 units. 18 stories, interior corridors. Accessibility (Call).

Pros: Location and the queen sweet
Cons: Too expensive, for two nights we spent what we could pay for a 5 night stay in the Bahamas! Valet should definately be included in the hotel price.

Pros: location
Cons: No one in this hotel seemed to know what their job was.....very incompetent. Customer service was definitely not their priority. Will never stay there again.
