Lovely historical hotel; helpful and courteous staff .. The room was nicely furnished. However, I was given a room at the end of two hallways; the room seemed not to have been dusted recently; the bathroom floor had noticeable dark/sticky spots and needed a thorough mopping.
Pros: Very nice furnishings; good public spaces; ease of internet access; helpful staff
Cons: The room needed a more thorough cleaning; there was dust on the radio and on the tables; there was only one roll of toilet paper; the bathroom floor had noticeably dirty/sticky spots; It seemed as though the room was seldom used and had not been recently/thoroughly cleaned.

Pros: Excellent location that is within walking distance of many dining and boutique shopping options. The lobby area is beautiful and staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Two t.v.s, real glasses for drinks, spacious room were all major pluses!
Cons: Path from parking garage to hotel was a bit maze-like. The closest elevator was out-of-order during our visit, making for an even longer walk to the main lobby elevators. No thermostat in bedroom (was one in adjoining room).

Pros: This is a bit of an older hotel, but immaculately kept and in a great location not too far from downtown St. Louis but in a very nice, trendy neighborhood with a very nice park across the street and lots of great restaurants just a short walking distance.
