Medicine Rocks State Park is 24 mi. s. on SR 7. The 320-acre park contains huge sandstone formations once used by Native Americans for ceremonies. An interpretive trail describes the site's history. In summer hiking and bicycling can be enjoyed, and in winter snowshoeing is a popular activity.

Recreational activities are permitted. Camping is permitted. Picnicking is permitted.

$6 (nonresidents per private vehicle); $4 (nonresidents arriving by other means); free (Montana residents with ID). Camping $24-$28 (nonresidents); $18-$20 (nonresidents with a Montana State Park passport); $14-$18 (Montana residents with ID).
