Last Chance Tour Train departs from the Montana Historical Society Museum, Library and Archives at 225 N. Roberts St. This 1-hour jaunt makes a circuit through Helena's present and past on an automotive tour train. Passengers view such whimsical downtown architectural features as giant lizards, thumbprints and gargoyles; the Cathedral of St. Helena's splendid 230-foot-tall spires; Reeder's Alley; and the city's mansion district.
$9; $8 (ages 60+); $7 (ages 4-12).
Hours: Tours depart Mon.-Sat. at 11, 1, 3 and 5:30, July-Aug.; at 11, 1 and 3, June 15-30; at 11 and 3, June 1-14 and Sept. 1-15.
