Very Good

Pros: When going to hotels, I find cleanliness to be what I put aside important. It was immaculate. It was quaint, extremely helpful staff, and warm. They gave you genuine family feeling.
Cons: I was under the impression that this was a lodge and offered cabins as a second option. There is no "lodge". It could have just been my misunderstanding,

The restaurant of this place...
Pros: THE FOOD... OMG THE FOOD!!!! The restaurant of the Yellowstone Valley Lodge is worthy of at least 1 Michelin star! It was a true discovery! Farm-to-table produce and prepared exquisitely. Even the desserts were spectacular (not always the case, even in Michelin-starred restaurants). Cannot wait to go back again. The accommodations were nice and the view spectacular. BUT GO FOR THE FOOD! OMG! And the friendliness of the waitresses!

Go for the view, stay...
Pros: The lodge was a true jewel of a discovery. The rooms are comfortable and the staff really nice. And the view at the back of the room (from individual terraces, nice!) was unbelievable. But what absolutely beat everything at the lodge was the restaurant. That place should be Michelin starred. I am European, and thus fussy about food. And the 2 dinners we have had there where of such quality that it inspired us to start a food blog.
