Here's a recipe for success: Jersey-born, bakes in a brick oven, uses organic/local ingredients and loves to eat. What do you get? A man who conjures up awesome pizza with signature combos such as house-made fennel marmalade, local bacon, Gouda cheese, mozzarella, garlic and olive oil. Sandwiches on homemade bread, salads and calzones also are offered and are just as creative. This pizza is the real deal and Bob, the owner, does it right, hand stretching and tossing the dough high in the air. The resulting crust is crispy on the outside and chewy inside. Oh, don't forget the basil lemonade—crazy as it sounds, it's thirst-quenching and complements the pizza, so much so that I had a hard time not finishing it in one gulp.
