Headwaters Heritage Museum is at 202 S. Main St. Life in the early 1900s is depicted through replicas that include a village blacksmith shop, railroad dispatcher's office, schoolroom, and a millinery and dress shop. Other rooms include a dental office, military display, kitchen and beauty shop. One exhibit features 571 types of barbed wire.

On the main floor, an American-made anvil, possibly the oldest of its kind in the United States, and the largest brown trout caught in Montana are displayed as well as artifacts from the surrounding towns in the Missouri Headwaters. The first floor is accessible to physically impaired visitors.
