Missouri Headwaters State Park is 3 mi. e., then 3 mi. n. of US 10 to 1585 Trident Rd. Discovered July 27, 1805, by the Lewis and Clark expedition, the headwaters in this 527-acre park are formed by the joining of the Madison, Gallatin and Jefferson rivers. A scenic overlook and a campground are nearby.
