Temixco Water Park (Ex-Hacienda de Temixco Parque Acuatico) is in the town of Temixco, about 11 km (7 mi.) s. of Cuernavaca. From downtown Mexico City, take the Autopista del Sol highway (Mex. 95-D) s. to the Las Brisas exit (Brisas/Temixco-Utez), then follow signs for Temixco Centro; the entrance is on Av. Temixco.
This water park has the usual assortment of slides, game and wave pools, a lazy river and children's play areas, plus miniature golf, sports courts, and picnic and barbecue areas. The grounds are attractive and nicely maintained. It can get very crowded on weekends and holidays, when Mexico City families pay a visit.
Food is available. Time: Allow 2 hours minimum.
