AAA Editor Notes
Lauren Rogers Museum of Art is at 565 N. Fifth Ave. (at Seventh St.). Exhibits emphasizing 18th- and 19th-century European art and American art from the 19th century to the present include works by Mary Cassatt, Winslow Homer, Elizabeth Catlett and Fairfield Porter. The museum also has a display of British Georgian silver, baskets from Native American cultures, and 18th- and 19th-century Japanese Ukiyo-e woodblock prints. Traveling exhibits and an art history library complement the permanent collections.
