AAA Editor Notes
Monument-Lefebvre National Historic Site is off Hwy. 106 in the Memramcook Valley. This 19th-century building commemorates the Acadian renaissance and the site of the first French-language, degree-granting institution in Atlantic Canada, founded in 1864 by Father Camille Lefebvre. A permanent exhibit explores the odyssey of the Acadian people. A restored period theater, noted for its architecture and acoustics, occupies the entire second floor.

Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
