It consists of Chateau de Mores, Chimney Park—the ruins of a meatpacking plant—and an interpretive center. The 26-room frame chateau contains many of the original furnishings and personal effects belonging to the Marquis de Mores, his wife Medora and the family.

Through permanent exhibits and a temporary gallery, the interpretive center depicts the nobleman's life; displays include guns, a stagecoach and other horse-drawn vehicles. On weekends, actors portraying de Mores and his wife tell stories about their life in the rugged badlands. An 8-minute video shown in the visitor center provides additional background about the family and the home.

Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
