Chahinkapa Zoo

Chahinkapa Zoo, Second St. and Eighth Ave. in Chahinkapa Park, is home to 70 species representing six continents. Among the more than 200 animals housed at the zoo are Bengal tigers, grizzly bears, snow leopards, river otters, an orangutan, monkeys, lemurs, bald eagles, owls, pheasants and Australian black swans. The grounds include a petting zoo and a nature center. The zoo also has a restored 1926 Spillman carousel with 20 antique wooden horses.
