Gage County Historical Society and Museum is at 101 N. 2nd St. Housed in the 1906 Burlington Railroad passenger station, the museum has permanent exhibits depicting the people and history of Gage County from 1854 to the 1950s. The museum's archives offer information for genealogical research. Another historical society property is the 1874 Elijah Filley Limestone Barn, at 13282 E. Scott Rd. in Filley. It is purportedly the largest native limestone bank barn in the state.
