Historical Society of Garden County Museum offers exhibits in the 1906 Rock School at 215 W. Ave. G and the 1906 Silverhill Theatre at 501 W. 1st Ave. The two historic buildings have displays highlighting local history and the military; visitors can view such items as carriages, clothing, arrowheads and hunting trophies.

Also featured are more than 200 mounted birds by artist and taxidermist Miles Maryott, an Oshkosh resident 1909-26 until a murder conviction sent him to the state penitentiary.
