Pros: I liked the buffet breakfast and dinner. The prices of the restaurants and cafes were reasonable compared to other hotels. The lady that registered us for the restaurant 'boarding pass' was really friendly (she had a table at the bottom of the escalator) and told us a bit about the area and how to find out about getting to Hoover Dam. Free parking was a bonus. The pool area was nice, plenty of beds to choose from. Pool towels were supplied at reception. There was about a 20 minute drive to Las Vegas. Also about 20 minute drive to Hoover Dam. Banking and shops nearby.
Cons: There are no tea and coffee facilities or a fridge in the room. When I asked for a kettle, the receptionist was puzzled, not sure what a kettle was. Then said that a coffee machine and fridge was an extra $16 per night, not something I wanted to pay as these are standard in other hotels.

Pros: Great bang for your buck. Always clean. Have stayed a few times now and really enjoy it. Our favorite staff member was Sharon, she was very nice and always treated us well. Great location and pool.
Cons: The first few times we stayed here the food at the cafe was great, and very affordable. While the price has stayed affordable, the quality was just not there and my buddy and I both got sick both times we went there. But it was all good, because there were lots of choices for food there.

Cons: When I arrived very late at night and checked in the soap was missing so I had nothing to take a shower with at 11:30pm. I called the desk and was told
I would be brought soap which never arrived until they cleaned my room the next day and left extra soap. Thanks a lot! I didn't need more soap the following day, I needed the night I checked in. Dont lie to me and say tou will bring it and never come. Now that you put me through the misery of remembering this I just downgraded my rating. There was no reason for that. You could have easily fixed it, but chose to lie to me.

Cons: The pillows were a little to stuffed/hard, the smell of smoke in a non-smoking room, some of the air conditioners need servicing, they can be quite loud, loud talking in halls when we're trying to sleep. That was taken care of. I heard a man yell out to be quiet, so the people stopped. I think the shower nozzles could be upgraded. I think you should convey to people that you hold $100 cash for deposit, that's refundable, and include the extra fees in your motel ads. I've stayed at this place 5 different visits now.

Pros: After a long drive from Reno to Henderson, we decided to rest before dinner. Ailene (?) desk clerk who checked us in very friendly and personable. Bed comfy, and we had a nice view of pool area. Best gift shop in any casino we've ever been in. Fiesta Cafe had lots of choices and we enjoyed eating there.
Enjoyed pool - temperature in Henderson was 103 degrees F at 6:00 pm.
Cons: Didn't like having to leave driver's license at front desk to use a luggage cart when we checked in and out of resort. Television, room air conditioning, and connecting to internet somewhat problematic. Front desk said they'd send a technician up in about 20 minutes, so husband figured it out.

Cons: The air conditioner was controlled by motion and the room got very hot when we were sleeping. We woke up every time the air conditioner turned on. The walls are very thin and our neighbors had a baby who was crying in the middle of the night. It sounded like the baby was in our room.

Cons: The only one thing I didn't like was that I had to call twice for the same thing. My room had not been cleaned properly. The day I arrived I removed my shoes and wanked around and animal hair got stuck to my socks, when I was told it wasn't a room where one could have pets but animal hair was all over. So please ask your housekeeping to make sure that the rooms get vaccumed properly. Thank you.

Pros: The hotel has a very nice and relaxing pool area. Casino experience is typical and what you would expect. Convenient location, it's not "across street" from anything but it is within a short drive to the strip, Hoover dam and other natural scenic areas.
Cons: The room had a horrible odor.. (supposedly new carpet) the odor would dimish only with the hvac system running. However, the system automatically shut off every time we walked out of the room due to the way thermostat system is designed.

Cons: No mini fridge or microwave in the room and with kids it is very useful to be able to warm their bottle and stuff.
Also the lady at the gift shop (Asian) was extremely rude to my 2yr old - screamed at her saying 'don't touch that!' I was holding her hand and she was nowhere near the breakables. I did not like this one bit!
