Pros: In addition to being a beautiful and luxurious resort, it is the best pet friendly hotel ever!we always come here when visiting Vegas! We stayed at a room on the second floor which opened to a large beautiful grass area with it's own doggy bag dispenser and trash can. Also it now has a Starbucks in it's gift shop, awesome! Also New Year's had gorgeous fireworks at the lake!

Relaxing New Year's Getaway
Pros: This property was amazing! After staying at my dad's small apartment near the strip for 2 weeks, it was nice to get away to a more quiet area for a few days. Overlooking the lake, the property is beautiful. There is a nice garden and a little village with some restaurants. Try Le Cafe Du Lac if you get a chance! The room was spacious and had a huge bathroom and balcony. The shower and bathtub were separate, and the toilet was closed off from the rest of the bathroom, making it convenient for two people. They refilled our soaps and shampoos everyday, instead of just when they ran out or I requested more. They also provided water and coffee without a hidden charge and refilled these more than once per day. It was great to be able to sit on the balcony and enjoy a cup, or grab a bottle of water before heading out to hike. The valet were nice, even after telling them we were just checking in and moving the car. The check-in and check-out were incredibly easy. Beds were comfy, everything seemed clean. Our room came with a mini-fridge, though I'm not sure if others do.
Cons: I thought security was a little lax. There were open doors with no security features leading right out into the village. From some of the doors you could reach the elevator without passing the lobby. It made me a little uncomfortable, but everything was ok.
