AAA Editor Notes
ARIA Resort & Casino is at 3730 Las Vegas Blvd. S. in the CityCenter complex. It impresses right off the bat, with a main entrance fountain that shoots long, high arcs of water, especially impressive when illuminated by different colors at night. Water also cascades down a long, curving stone wall with steel-beamed awnings. The contemporary modernist look is something of an anomaly in a town where hotels often mimic monuments to the past.
Walking through ARIA's casino is like being in an enormous designer cave with dark walls, wood paneling and high, wood-beamed ceilings. Beautiful chandeliers adorn plush, classy cocktail bars and lounges. Gaming tables are spiffy, and in keeping with the overall high roller ambience, table minimums (not to mention the slots and poker machines) are all sky high.
The pool areas are in a lovely garden setting with meandering paved pathways. Liquid Lounge is an adults-only, high-end party pool with private cabanas and bars.
