AAA Inspector Notes
A 350-foot, glass-faced pyramid crowned by a 40 billion candlepower vertical light beam is the central feature of this Egyptian-themed hotel. The sideways traveling pyramid tower elevator is always a treat, but the pyramid rooms are the most modest. Smoke free premises. 4400 units, some two bedrooms. 22-30 stories, interior corridors. good - a little dated but nice amenities and good location
Pros: good location. most of the staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.
Cons: After a long flight and arriving late at night we had difficulty checking in due to a computer error. We were left waiting for a very long time and there were more employees standing behind the desk chatting than there were customers waiting to be helped. The front desk manager was abrupt and seemed unconcerned that we were inconvenienced, When we got to our room, the bathroom vanity was dirty, the toilet had urine on the seat and tissue in the toilet and there was trash in the trash cans. We were upgraded to another room which also had trash in the trash cans, but was, otherwise clean.

Pros: The hotel is slightly older, but the staff and customer service are great. The facilities (gym, pool, etc) are fantastic, and the location is decent as it is a jumping point to the airport and the strip. Hotel is flexible with slightly early check-in
Cons: Escalators are constantly broken which is inconvenient when carrying large / multiple luggage. Check-out time is not flexible (11AM latest without charge). Cleaning staff do not do a thorough job during your stay.
