AAA Inspector Notes
There is plenty of action—a zipline, live bands and the well-known Fremont Street light show—right outside of this centrally located hotel. The casino offers a contemporary party scene downstairs with dancing and dealers and a throwback to old-school Vegas upstairs. The rooms, are bright and fun with an updated look. 629 units, some two bedrooms. 34 stories, interior corridors. Bath: shower only.

Pros:
Cons: Room was on corner with spot lights shining up the building. Jetted tub didn't work and looked disgusting, hot water would burn you and trying to mix the right amount of hot and cold to wash even your hands was a task.

Pros: The downtown location is good for me. Hotel staff were always cleaning. Remodel of old Fitzgerald was really impressive. Very hip. Elevators updated so took getting used to. Staff very helpful explaining elevator operation. Most be the latest techno
Cons: The D charges a resort fee. There are no resort amenities--no landscaping, no exercise machines, no business facilities. There is a small saltwater pool and hot tub. Getting a hot water shower was a challenge the 12 days we stayed.
