Fredericton Region Museum is on Officers' Square at 571 Queen St. Displays illustrate the military and domestic sides of life in the province, ranging from a replica of a World War I trench to a 19-kilogram (42-lb.) Coleman frog. A changing of the guard ceremony takes place on Officers' Square during the summer months.
$5; $2 (students with ID); free (ages 0-5); $10 (family, two adults and up to three children under 18).
Hours: Daily 10-5, July-Aug.; Tues.-Sat. 1-4, Apr.-June and Sept.-Nov.; by appointment rest of year. Changing of the guard ceremony daily at 11 and 4, July-Aug. (weather permitting). Closed Jan. 1, Christmas and day after Christmas.
