Kingsbrae Garden is at 220 King St. Overlooking Passamaquoddy Bay, this 11-hectare (27-acre) horticultural garden encompasses more than 50,000 flowers, shrubs and trees. Themed displays include cottage, rose, perennial, knot, ornamental grass, bird and butterfly, fantasy, gravel, culinary herb, edible and wildflower gardens as well as the Oasis Peace Garden. The Scents and Sensitivity Garden is notable for its raised design and plants chosen so that they can be enjoyed by the visually impaired; all signs are in Braille.

Color blasts throughout the Perennial Garden, enclosed by century-old cedar hedges. A woodland trail winds through an old-growth Acadian forest, and a cedar maze leads into a labyrinth. The biannual National Sculpture Competition and Garden event mixes floral displays with interesting art pieces. An art gallery features the work of local artists. Alpacas, goats and peacocks roam the grounds.

Guided walking tours are available by reservation. Motorized carts driven by guides are available (by reservation or by request as needed) for those requiring assistance.
