Robert Frost Farm, 1.5 mi. s of jct. SR 102 at 122 Rockingham Rd., is where renowned poet Robert Frost lived 1900-11. The farm was the source of inspiration for many of his published works. Restored to its turn-of-the-20th-century condition, the house contains period furniture. Displays in the barn pertain to Frost and his writings. Videos feature readings of his works and describe the restoration of the farm.
A .5-mile poetry nature trail winds around the farm. Summer is busy with a literary series in July and August and the Hyla Brook Reading Series, a collection of readings and writing workshops, from June to September.
Guided tours are available. Time: Allow 1 hour, 30 minutes minimum.
