This is a neat little historic hotel with a bar and restaurant attached to it. It's very close to the ocean though we didn't visit the beach on this stay. The hotel is five minutes from Smuttynose, a great little brewery with a restaurant next toIt. The Roosevelts stayed in our room quite some time ago. The room was quiet and the bed was comfy so I slept much better than I normally do in hotels.
Pros: Comfy beds, cleanliness, good water pressure, free breakfast, bar and restaurant downstairs are convenient, easy to park
Cons: It would be nice if the hotel posted the breakfast times in their rooms. Their breakfast hours are different on Sunday so I forgot and missed breakfast. A reminder in the room would be nice since this isn't normal for other hotels.

Pros: The hotel was charming and quaint. We loved the restaurant and bar on the premises. Continental breakfast in the restaurant was good. Coffee and tea all day long in the lobby is great.

Pros: Small town, cozy feel. The Old Salt, the restaurant next door, was built in 1700's, where we had the pleasure of eating their basic continental breakfast. Beautiful embriodered canopy Bed. Walking distance to a few shops. Would have stayed longer!
