Hopkins Center for the Arts, on the Dartmouth College campus at 4 E. Wheelock St., was architect Wallace Harrison's prototype for his Metropolitan Opera House at Lincoln Center in New York City. Opened in 1962, the center presents artists in music, dance and theater, plus student performances, a film series and galleries with various works.
Building free. Performances priced individually.
Hours: Building open daily 7:30 a.m.-midnight; reduced hours during campus holidays. Box office open Mon.-Fri. 10-6, Sat. 1-6.
