Squam Lakes Natural Science Center

Squam Lakes Natural Science Center, jct. SRs 3 and 113 at 23 Science Center Rd., has nature trails featuring interactive live animal exhibits. Owls, bears, deer, bobcats, otters, birds of prey, mountain lions and other New Hampshire wildlife are housed in settings that resemble their natural habitats. The center also includes a public garden and children's activity center.

Guided cruises on Squam Lake are available for an additional fee. A variety of programs are offered year-round.
