Weeks State Park consists of 420 acres 2 mi. s. on US 3. The park was the mountaintop summer estate of John Wingate Weeks, the one-time secretary of war and senator who wrote the legislation that established the Eastern national forests.

The fieldstone and stucco mansion contains exhibits and mementos of Senator Weeks' service during the Harding and Coolidge presidential administrations as well as displays that trace the history of the state's conservation efforts. A fieldstone observation tower affords views of Mount Washington and the Presidential Range to the east and Vermont's Green Mountains to the west.

Nature and hiking trails are available.

Pet friendly (call for restrictions/fees.). Recreational activities are permitted. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
