New Hampshire Farm Museum is off SR 16 exit 18, then .7 mi. s. on SR 125. The museum, housed on two historic farmsteads, reflects New Hampshire's agricultural past through tours of the Jones farmhouse, displays of antique farm implements, heritage breeds of farm animals and demonstrations of rural arts. The farmsteads are considered the best preserved examples of connected farm structures in the state. A cider mill and blacksmith shop also are on the premises. Guided tours are available. Picnicking is permitted. Time: Allow 1 hour minimum.
$7; $6 (ages 65+); $4 (ages 4-17); $20 (family, two adults and their children or grandchildren).
Hours: Wed.-Sun. 10-5, late June-Labor Day; Fri.-Sun. 10-4, day after Labor Day-Oct. 31; Sat.-Sun. 10-4, late May to mid-June. Last tour departs at 3:30. Phone ahead to confirm schedule.
