Pros: The view and hotel were beautiful.
Cons: I found the staff to be so-so. Upon arrival, no one greeted us out front when we unloaded our bags. The staff attending did not give us any attention. Reception was cordial. The food was over priced for the quality of what we received for lunch (pool side) and dinner. Breakfast was very good however.

Pros: The views are absolutely stunning, the veranda is huge and welcoming. Just take a seat and a server will take your drink order. Sit back and enjoy! The hotel offers a lot of fun activities like the axe throwing contest! SO much fun. The grounds are gorgeous. We were there for Labor Day weekend wedding and the flowers were beautiful, the grass was green, everything super tidy and clean. For the wedding we attended-A+...from the ceremony location to the ballroom to the food. It was great! I would absolutely go back!
Cons: The bed is too soft for my back but 1-2 nights isn't a problem. The food in the restaurant wasn't super but it wasn't expensive either. It seemed like the chef is trying too hard-for example the bloody mary's were super spicy because he decided not to use good old fashioned horseradish. Instead he made his own concoction-it was terrible. The caesar was grilled lettuce with a runny dressing and eggs...not necessary. The staff didn't win any awards either. But in my opinion, I was there to be pampered. I can take care of myself. The views made up for all of it.
