AAA Inspector Notes
Inspector Pick (Spa): The "Tower" has gorgeous 360-degree views and is probably the most relaxing place in the hotel. I enjoyed lounging in this private area's hot bath.
This sprawling 1865 hotel supports sustainability initiatives; 12% of its electricity is provided by an on-site wind farm. Guests love the luxurious amenities and the beautiful mountain views. One floor below the dining room is a cozy wine cellar, lined with thousands of bottles of wine, where guests can enjoy a more formal dining experience or wine tastings. This is a beautiful hotel. The views of the mountains are stunning. We had dinner at the Wine Cellar and it was wonderful.
Pros: We loved the staff. The people working here are so nice and helpful. You really notice the difference from other hotels. The breakfast is very good with a good selection of fruits as well.
Cons: We were staying at the back of hotel and could here the deliveries coming in the early am.

The room, location was just...
Pros: Loved the staff - especially Daniel and Nicholas the bellman - great guys and really an asset the facility.
Cons: The food - we ate at the Harvest Pub/Tavern and the meal did not meet our expectations especially because the hotel was awesome. I won't go into details - but very poor quality of food. Also, went to the bar our first night at 9pm to have an after dinner drink and waited about 15 min and no one took our order (it was not busy). So - all they need to do is improve on the food and service in the bar.
