This charming small hotel is popular for weddings and it's easy to see why. Public spaces are very attractive in classic Colonial décor and rooms are spacious with marble-clad bathrooms. The lobby areas include fireplaces and antique-style furnishings; the breakfast area looks out on the nicely landscaped courtyard. Some first-floor rooms have additional exterior entry doors for easy access.
Smoke free premises. 102 units. 2 stories, interior/exterior corridors. Accessibility (Call).
Pros: Great spot to rest our heads, comfy beds, big rooms, excellent continental breakfast, beautiful facility. Nothing to complain about at all!
Pros: Location. We were there overnight and to attend a family Thanksgiving dinner off-site; the inn served many, many dinners from what we could see going to our room, and yet the next morning, all signs of it were gone. We were very impressed.
Pros: Nice room, friendly staff and good continental breakfast. Loved having the restaurant and pub just a walk away.
Pros: Hotel restaurant is authentic colonial architecture. Fun if you like history. hotel courtyard is nice quiet spot for gathering during a conference. Conference facilities were great for a 40-100 person gathering.
Cons: A bit pricey.
Pros: The Staff was friendly and helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room was very clean. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: The room could use an upgrade. I had problem with the TV. It was difficult to hange channel and make it louder or softer. It may have been the remote.
Pros: Great ambience, superb staff, easy access to trains into Penn Station NYC, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the historic Grain House tavern/restaurant that is part of this property. Excellent food and service. This is a great place to come home to at the end of a business day.
Pros: Good location
Cons: This property needs to be refurbished. It looks tired with a cracked sink and a sagging bed.
Pros: Breakfast was decent. Staff is friendly.
Cons: the design is creepy and everything is worn down. The gym is a disaster, stinky, dirty and poorly equipped. Not worth the money but everything else in area was booked already
Pros: A beatiful building , kept well but staff seem to be trained to deflect rather than sort out problems
Cons: Nonchalance of the staff when handling complaints
